A service which sends you email alerts whenever it finds some new information based on your search query or term.

This monitoring tool is ideal for business people who know exactly what to monitor and when. IFTTT gives the freedom of setting up alerts so that you can be notified when your brand or mentioned keyword appears on a particular website.The this part of a Recipe is a Trigger. Some example Triggers are “I’m tagged in a photo on Facebook” or “I check in on Foursquare.” The that part of a Recipe is an Action. Some example Actions are “send me a text message” or “create a status message on Facebook.”

LinkedIn Job Alerts
Getting Email Alerts for New Job Postings. You can receive email alerts for new jobs posted on LinkedIn that match your general search criteria or that are recommended to you from the Jobs You May Be Interested In feature.Set up and manage email alerts using Job Alerts
An email alert can be created through the Job Alerts feature on the Jobs results page of LinkedIn.com:
To the right of LinkedIn's job search results page, click Create search alert.
Select how often you'd like to receive an email alert about new jobs on LinkedIn.com that fit those specific search parameters.
Alerts can be sent daily or weekly.
Check the boxes next to Email and Mobile and desktop, if you would also like to be notified of new jobs via LinkedIn.com and the LinkedIn Job Search app, if applicable.
You can also set up a Job Alert if you search for jobs through a search engine and land on a LinkedIn jobs page, even if you don't have a LinkedIn profile.

To set up a Job Alert as a guest:
At the bottom of LinkedIn's job search results page, enter your email address and click Create job alert. You can also enter your email address and click the Create job alert button in the upper left corner of the page.
Click Create job alert to save. Once activated, you'll begin to receive daily emails for that job search.
Important: Once you sign up for a Job Alert as a guest, you'll receive an activation email. You must confirm activation through the link in this email before you begin receiving Job Alerts. All activation emails are valid for 7 days. Any Job Alerts that have not yet been activated will be in a pending status, and you cannot have more than three Job Alerts pending at any given time.
Keep in mind that if you sign up for a new LinkedIn account, any guest Job Alerts you've created will transfer to your new account.
