The Ekiti state Governor, Governor Ayodele Fayose was in Igbara Odo-Ekiti to calm down the tension in the environment as a result of crisis that erupted in the community over the resolutions of the federation of Igbara Odo Students Union (FISU) to the community on some certain issues.
Three people were reportedly killed In this crisis, (a police officer and two people), many valuable things worth millions of Naira, Arajaka's palace, his vehicles were damaged brutally.
The governor As a result of this has placed a 7 days door-to-door curfew and those involved in this incident will be prosecuted and jailed.
