Nigeria Medical Games: South-South, North-East Clash In Basketball Final As South-East, North-Central Reach Football Semis

By James Agberebi, in Abeokuta: South-South zone and North-East zone will clash in the final of the basketball event at the ongoing 2018 Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) national games, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

The final comes up on Thursday evening (today) at the Alake Sports Centre, Abeokuta.

To get to the final, North-East trounced South-East 29 points to 10.

On their part, South+South went past North- Central 42 points to 17 to advance to the final.

The third-place match between North-Central and South-East will also hold on Thursday.

In the football event, South-East zone advances to the semi-finals after thrashing South-West zone 7-2 inside the main bowl of the MKO Abiola Stadium Abeokuta .

South-East will take on North-Central who edged Team Lagos 3-2 in the other match played at the practicing pitch of the MKO Abiola Stadium.

The other semi-finalists will be known later on Thursday when North-East take on South-South and North-West go head-to-head with the hosts, Team Ogun.
